All on and off campus students. There will be a check-in in the Challey Atrium of the music building (where orientation was held).(MAP) The check-in will be to ensure all students are present, distribute lockers and needed instruments, and take quick measurements for uniforms.
On-campus students: Please check-in at the music building before going to your residence hall.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHECK IN.
On-campus people: Do not go directly to your residence hall.
For percussion and color guard it will be Saturday, Aug. 14 from 12pm-1:30pm.
For the remainder of the band, check-in will be on Sunday, Aug. 15 from 12-5pm.
This will also be an opportunity for those living on campus for the first time to make sure they know where their residence hall is located.
If you're new to marching, or want to try marching, DON'T WORRY! Some band members come into marching band with no experience whatsoever and some come in from grand champion bands, but we teach everyone from the beginning our styles and techniques of marching so everyone is on the same page when we start learning and teaching our shows.
If you want to learn NDSU's style of marching and have a bit of a heads up when it comes to band camp check out our fundamental videos to learn some of our styles.
